For the last couple years, Diogo has been on tours and performed around the world with many renowned artists such as: three-time Grammy winner Concha Buika, Latin Grammy winner Vanessa Da Mata, Cris Delano (Bossa Cuca Nova), Sandra de Sá, Max Viana, Ellen Oléria, John Secada, Rogê, Nouvelle Vague and many others.

​He studied at the music conservatory of Rio de Janeiro, the School of Music Villa-Lobos and is currently majoring in music production at Miami Dade College.

​He has also been recording, playing and producing different artists, as well as his own project, Batuke Samba Funk, that won the 2013 Brazilian Press Award as the Best Brazilian Band in the US.

​His compositions have been recorded by various artists, including the song "O Samba De Nós Dois", composed in partnership with João Falcão, recorded by Daniel Chaudon and Mart'nália. This song was selected to be part of the soundtrack of the Rede Globo’s soap opera “Bablônia", in 2015. Influences: Samba Funk, Jazz, Soul, Samba, MPB.
