Laura Noel is a professional artist based in Jupiter, Florida.
For nearly 20 years now I have perfected the art of making your home exactly that, Your home. I've learned to listen intently to the interests and needs of each specific client and produce a work of art that represents them to anyone who enters their home or work space.
Having earned a degree in graphic design, I was taught early on the importance of reflecting the desired goal of the client, how to listen to their personal concerns and find a way to make that happen. Although I have been very artistic since early childhood, I had rarely painted until after college; my primary focus had always been on portraiture and illustration. After the birth of my son, I found there were many options for decorating little girls' rooms but not so much for little boys.. I didn't want some run-of-the-mill, mass-produced accent piece so I picked up a paint brush and began to create ...
And so began the wave of the next 20 years...Originally, I began focusing on children's rooms, thinking they would not require as much expertise. However, one of my first paying jobs was in the former residence of John Lennon in Palm Beach and the rest, as they say, is history. As requests filtered in, I began broadening my horizons with more challenging projects as well as adding a multitude of items, surfaces and techniques.
I truly enjoy the challenge of a serious work of art and always striving for higher level of excellence. However, the joy of watching a child's imagination take flight as they become one with a fantasy world in the form of a newly painted mural on their bedroom wall provides satisfaction not many jobs could offer.I am grateful for the gift I have been given and for the opportunity to share that ability with others.
